Conservancy Gets Land Trust Alliance Grant

The Northcentral Pennsylvania Conservancy has been awarded a $2,700 grant to help expand its efforts to protect important natural and historic lands in the region. The grant was provided by the national Land Trust Alliance. Since it was formed in 1990, the conservancy has helped protect more than 8,300 acres through a variety of methods, including purchase and transfer to state agencies and preservation easements.
